Description
We are looking for someone to produce stories that require extensive research and of analytical nature.
The successful candidate will:-
- Produce indepth news bulletins and/or reports for online media
- Review and assess reports from various news sources to put together news bulletins and/or reports for online media
- Ensure smooth production of news programmes and/or online media by coordinating and tracking activities and deliverables from the whole production team
- Uphold and maintain news programme and/or online media quality by performing regular checks on content and presentation, reviewing feedback and identifying areas for improvement
- Assign stories to reporters and send camera crew and other support staff on location to film breaking news when necessary
- Understand and adhere to editorial guidelines of the Company and production codes set by the regulators
- Degree preferably in Mass Communications, Journalism or Chinese Studies
- Good news sense and good news gathering network, able to source for exclusive stories
- Excellent copywriting and story crafting skills for broadcast media
- Good organisational, communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly developed visual sense with good knowledge of broadcast media production techniques
- Creative, analytical and good story teller
- Independent individual who is comfortable to work with minimal supervision
