Product Design Engineer (R&D,Lifestyle Prdt)

Our client is an overseas establishment for more than 50 years, in a fast growing, competitive business in the bicycle industry. They are currently expanding into Singapore and seek talents to join them to pioneer the team, in product development.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare proposals, concepts and prototypes for new products and improvements
• Perform project management of product developments with internal and external stakeholders
• Communicate and collaborate with product development team and sales to create a development road map
• Ensure all new product developments are compliant with applicable regulations and processes
• Prepare all product related documents and manuals
• Investigate product issues, liaison and resolve internally with product and quality control teams
• Gather customer insights by visiting key dealers, develop understanding on competitors, and proactively search for new developments in the market
• Provide support to customers for desired and ease of use and applications

Requirements:

• Bachelor\'s or Master\'s in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or related fields of Product Design
• 1-3 years of relevant product and design experience, in the bicycle industry a plus
• Independent and ability to work in small team
• Adaptable and enjoy hands-on on a broad variety of tasks and responsibilities in a startup setting
• Experience with troubleshooting and support for internal and external stakeholders involved
