POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are seeking an experienced

Subsea Product Design Engineer

to join our esteemed client.





The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in subsea product design and be intimately familiar with API 17D standards.

pivotal role in offshore energy projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Work on the design and development of advanced subsea products from scratch, like Christmas Trees and Wellheads adhering to API 17D standards and other relevant industry guidelines. Utilize sophisticated CAD software and engineering analysis tools to create detailed design specifications, manufacturing drawings, and simulations. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including project managers, engineers, and technicians, to ensure alignment with project objectives, timelines, and budgetary constraints. Conduct thorough feasibility studies, risk assessments, and performance evaluations to identify design optimizations and mitigate potential technical challenges. Oversee prototype testing, validation, and certification activities, working in tandem with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards. Stay abreast of emerging technologies, market trends, and industry best practices in subsea engineering, actively integrating new innovations into product design and development processes.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's Degree - Mechanical Engineering At least 8 years of progressive experience in

Subsea Product Design and engineering,

with a strong focus on Offshore upstream projects. In-depth familiarity with API 17D standards and other relevant industry regulations governing subsea equipment design, manufacturing, and installation. Proficiency in advanced CAD software (especially SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and FEA tools for structural analysis. Expertise in subsea engineering principles, including materials selection, corrosion protection, and fatigue analysis. Proven track record of working on successful subsea product development projects from concept to completion, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders across different disciplines and geographical locations. * Ability to speak Mandarin would be an advantage.
