We're seeking an experienced UX/Product Designer to support our global design team in shaping Julius Baer's client-facing digital solutions. As a key member of the team, you'll collaborate with a Journey Designer and another UX/Product Designer to drive design excellence. You'll report to the Head of Change and Customer Experience (CCX), located in Zurich Switzerland, who leads Julius Baer's global design and client journey transformation. The role involves close collaboration with POs, BAs, other designers and of course: a global user base.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Figma expertise

: Proficient in Figma, utilizing it as the central design tool to create and collaborate on designs

User-centered design

: Conduct thorough user research to inform design decisions, creating prototypes that address business challenges and meet user needs

Workflow optimization

: Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to refine workflows, promoting design maturity and efficient collaboration within product teams

Design Ops experience

: Proven experience working within an enterprise Design Ops framework, with a deep understanding of working with a central Design System team

Project management

: Effectively manage your workload and backlog, ensuring clear communication with stakeholders on project timelines and expectations

Customer advocacy

: Champion the voice of the customer, ensuring that user needs are understood and addressed before proceeding with design tasks (no blind execution of given tasks!)

Collaboration and communication

: Excel as a team player, providing clear and concise communication to stakeholders and colleagues, fostering a culture of transparency and cooperation

Design process evangelism

: Support and guide the organization in adopting enhanced design processes, promoting a culture of design excellence and user-centricity

Regulatory Responsibilities &/OR Risk Management

Demonstration of appropriate values and behaviours including but not limited to standards on honesty and integrity, due care and diligence, fair dealing (treating customers fairly), management of conflicts of interest, competence and continuous development, adequate risk management, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations

YOUR PROFILE

SKILLS REQUIREMENTS OF THE POSITION

Professional and Technical

5-7 years of experience

: Familiarity with large corporate environments, preferably within the Financial Industry, with an understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities they present

Journey-based working expertise

: Fluency in best practices for journey-based prototyping and design work

Usability principles

: Strong knowledge of usability principles and techniques

Communication skills

: Excellent communication skills to articulate why a prototype was composed the way it is

Stakeholder management

: Excellent stakeholder management, including directly speaking to end-users from the Front

Collaborative team experience

: Experience working in a collaborative multi-disciplinary team

Agile environment experience

: Experience working in a highly Agile/scrum environment

Software development understanding

: Good understanding of software development processes

Personal and Social

Be easy-to-work with. "can do" attitude. Excellent stakeholder management skills. Ability to articulate your ideas clearly Strong conceptual, analytical and problem solving skills, as well as defining concrete deliverables Ability to think pragmatically and drive execution of concepts.
