Responsibilities:

• Primary technical point of contact for customer and sales for new product opportunities
• Manage and commercialise R&D projects with customers
• Manage the development of new and innovative products or of existing products
• Provide direction to product development initiatives
• Lead Product Safety and Sustainable product initiatives
• Perform continuous improvement of innovation and product change excellence
• Lead and ensure product development roadmaps are established
• Lead programs to ensure best value is delivered for the organisation and its customers
• Establish and manage relationships while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders
• Represent in market branding opportunities i.e., speaking engagements
• Actively track technology trends and needs, understand market technical needs to define technical solutions and commercial positioning
• Lead project sanctioning and governance decisions
• Lead and manage customer\'s validation and qualification protocol

Requirements:

• Bachelor in Chemical/Material Science/Polymer Science or related disciplines with experience in flexible packaging
• Understanding of new product development stage-gate process
• Experience in project management, project sanctioning and governance
• Ability to perform change management

Excellent problem solving skills * Strong people skills with good written and oral communication skills
