Job Description

PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT & DESIGN

1) Sourcing for inspirations for design ideas for brands/buyers

2) Compile seasonal apparel fashion trend research

3) Source for new materials (fabric, trims, embellishments etc) for new developments

4) Conceptualizing ideas for new designs, colours and silhouette

5) Support sales team with design presentations and marketing materials

6) Artwork/graphic/print design

TECHNICAL DEVELOPMENT

1) Working with tech team on grading, garment construction, paper pattern development

2) Support product technical requirements or implementations from brands/buyers

3) Developing 3D prototypes and digital sampling

4) Develop digital fit samples for customer approval

5) Create digital prototypes for presentation

6) Manage samples (digital and physical) and fabric database and physical library

7) Developing technical specifications for product developments

REQUIREMENTS:

Relevant certifications in Fashion Merchandising & Marketing/Designs or equivalent a plus Relevant experience in Design/Product Development Knowledge in garments construction and sewing Proficient in Adobe Photoshop/Adobe Illustrator an advantage Possess an eye for detail in color, texture and pattern Proficient in English & Chinese languages - to liaise with Mandarin-speaking clients from China
