Job Description

:

• Lead the resolution of customer print/copy/scan issues
• Investigate into specific causes for high failure rates and implement fixes through hardware changes
• Conduct debug analysis for failed parts for issues troubleshooting
• Collaborate with both internal and external partners for regular technical discussions such that quality issues seen in our current product design can be eliminated on follow-on products
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide current products hardware performance updates to our management
• Participate in special product improvement initiatives, e.g. EMQI
• Understand customer environment, usage, workflows in order to plan for special tests and design improvements to enhance product performance
• Participate in mass production trial runs and responsible to test new printers for final reliability
• Define custom test plan to ensure the printer meets released product specifications within the intended design margins
• Work with factory operations engineer to assess production readiness, i.e. Pass/fail criteria, testing/audit plans, hardware debug instructions etc

Qualifications:

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Engineering - Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electro-Mechanical, Electrical/Electronics or any relevant work experience

Other Information:

• Minimum 3 years of working experience in a relevant field
• Experience working on copiers/laser printer design
