Job Purpose:
The Product Executive Manager is responsible for managing product procurement, pricing, inventory planning, supplier coordination, and product marketing strategies for wholesale trade operations. This role ensures the right products are sourced, stocked, and distributed efficiently to meet market demand and business targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Management & Planning
Identify market trends, product demand, and new sourcing opportunities.
Plan and execute product category strategies to achieve sales and profitability goals.
Develop and maintain product portfolio across multiple product lines.
Define product pricing strategies and ensure competitive positioning in the market.
Sourcing & Supplier Coordination
Build and maintain relationships with local & international suppliers.
Negotiate purchase agreements, pricing, delivery terms, and contract terms.
Monitor supplier performance, quality standards, and timely delivery compliance.
Inventory & Logistics
Coordinate inventory planning, stock control, and reorder levels.
Work with logistics and warehousing teams for smooth shipping & delivery.
Monitor product availability and minimize shortages & excess stock.
Sales & Marketing Support
Support sales team with product knowledge, pricing, and marketing materials.
Create product presentations, catalogues, and promotional content.
Conduct competitive analysis and market research for pricing & product decisions.
Quality & Compliance
Ensure product compliance with import regulations, safety norms, and quality standards.
Manage product testing, inspection reports, and certifications when required.
Reporting & Analysis
Prepare product performance reports, sales forecasts, and profit metrics.
Review customer feedback and market performance to propose improvements.
Key Skills & Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, or related field.
Experience in wholesale trading, FMCG, general trade, or multi-category product business preferred.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and vendor relationship skills.
Strong analytical skills and knowledge of pricing strategies & market trends.
Proficiency in MS Office / ERP systems / Inventory software.
Problem-solving and ability to work in a fast-paced supply chain environment.
