Job Description

Role Responsibilities

  • Analyses and validates requirements around usage of external data using a systematic, disciplined, and analytical approach to problem solving.
  • Strong functional expertise in gathering, validating and documenting business requirements; creating functional specifications for solutions.
  • Liaises with data vendors to ensure understanding of requirements and limitations of solutions.
  • Develop presentation materials and create talking points on Market Data, sustainability, and ESG-related topics for engagement with internal and external stakeholders, and support and track follow up activity.
  • Build and maintain good relationship with a diverse group of external vendors.
  • Maintains relationships with stakeholders and obtains formal signoff of all requirement documentation.
  • Ability to manage senior stakeholders across multiple streams - business users, technology, finance, data.
  • Able to generate good project documentations, such as epics, user stories, presentation packs.
Our Ideal Candidate
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology / System, Business, or related disciplines. Master's degree in sustainability, environmental science, business finance will be a big plus.
  • 10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Business Solution Manager, Product Expert or Product Owner in data driven digital transformation programmes.
  • Strong communication skills (both verbal and written), ability to capture, analyse and distil complex information into succinct and clear messaging.
  • Advanced data analysis capabilities and software experience, including advanced knowledge of Excel for data analysis and visualization (e.g. power query, advanced formulas, pivot tables, macros / VBA) and / or knowledge of other relevant programs and workflow tools.
  • Strong functional knowledge of CCIB (Corporate, Commercial and Institutional Banking) business.
  • Strong functional Knowledge of externa market data (such as Company Fundamentals, Securities Master data).
  • Familiarity with financial instruments and transaction due diligence processes.
  • Work experience on environmental, social and governance (ESG) topics is highly desired.
  • Ability to organize and lead meetings with business and operational data owners.
  • Experience working in agile team, knowledge of agile methodologies and agile ceremonies.
  • Knowledge of project management and collaboration tools like JIRA and Confluence.
  • Strong interest to become the ESG data expert is mandatory.
  • Agile certifications are preferred.
