Business Function Global Transaction Services (GTS) comprises of Cash & Trade, Securities Services and Fiduciary Services. In an increasingly borderless world marked by burgeoning trade flow, expertise in trade finance services is an invaluable asset. With cash the lifeblood of every company, so too, is a good understanding of how to manage these cashflows. Trade Finance, together with Cash Management, is the mainstay of GTS, and is extended to SME and corporate clients for their local and cross-border financial transaction needs. Job Purpose The SME Cross Border Payments Specialist role manages the conceptualization, development, go-to-market, launch, continuous improvements of digital payment & connectivity solutions to deliver seamless, differentiated solution to SME clients. Through effective engagement and close working collaboration with stakeholders (technology, sales, relationship managers, operations, risk & compliance and legal) on all levels, from top leadership to the working team, he/she will connect strategy and end-to-end execution to drive growth, sustainability, and profitability of the products. Responsibilities Key deliverables for the selected candidate are:

  • Develop strategic product roadmap and vision in alignment with organisation strategy and ensure that the product roadmap supports business drivers by defining success metrics for the products.
  • Drive the conceptualization, development, go-to-market, launch, continuous improvements, of the online payment products and connectivity solutions to deliver compelling customer value propositions.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to drive SME cross border payments innovation, revenues and volumes. Focus on digital innovations and disruptions in the payments landscape to develop new solutions for bank.
  • Foster effective product development for payments products, encompassing conceptualising and bringing to market new solutions.
  • Leads day-to-day business process matters such as product support, operational issues, client pitch support, and management reporting.
  • Ensure adherence of products to appropriate regulatory governance requirements.
Requirements
  • Domain expertise in cross border payments in Asian region. Strong knowledge of the payments industry and related technologies. Deep knowledge of SME & new economy segment and their needs will be helpful.
  • Minimum 5 years of product management/development, with experience in payments and building digital platform solutions to support SME client segment.
  • Track record in managing, developing and launching new products.
  • Strong problem solving, decision making and stakeholder management, with the ability to influence key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering results in an ambiguous and changing environment, the ability to work independently and be a self-starter.
  • Ability to function effectively under pressure in environments of rapid change and conflicting demands and crisis management, and possess creative problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated continuous improvement, quality methodology and product delivery skills
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree in any related discipline.
