Product Manager -12 months contract

Job description:

We are looking for a product manager to support the development and delivery of life insurance products in line with company\'s Life\'s product delivery strategy.

Role Purpose

Principal Responsibilities:

\xc2\xb7 Support product creation/development by:

o researching customer segments and demands;

o producing good quality product market intel/comparison;

o gathering feedback through marketing surveys, regular focus group with partners/agency group, internal stakeholders and reinsurers;

o ensuring the product design comply with the MAS, LIA as well as the company Life internal requirements;

\xc2\xb7 Support product delivery by:

o doing documentation of Product Specs and working with various departments to submit system requirements;

o preparing point-of-sales documents and ensuring they comply with regulatory requirements;

o collaborating with the project management team to agree on product development and launch timelines;

o collaborating with marketing, digital and training teams to create marketing collaterals, training slides and other sales support tools;

o supporting in product related campaign in collaboration with the marketing and distribution teams;

o preparing product approval document for local as well as group office in a timely manner;

o performing UAT for the relevant systems to support the product launch;

o support system migration related user requirements and UAT;

o performing product post-launch review (including sales performance, feedback from the ground etc) which aligned with the company standard guideline/requirements;

o Provide sales support and handle enquiries from distribution channels or internal stakeholders in matters related to products.

Qualifications, Experiences, Skills and Ability

\xc2\xb7 At least 5 years of relevant product development experience in life insurance industry. An in-depth knowledge of life insurance market and products in Singapore will be advantageous;

\xc2\xb7 Strong product development background and good knowledge in insurance;

\xc2\xb7 Strong business acumen and communication skill, with proven ability to influence and work with people from different business functions;

\xc2\xb7 Strong analytical and problem solving skills;

\xc2\xb7 A positive, enthusiastic, committed and \'can do\' attitude team player
