Introduction to the role:

This role will be part of the Digital Product Team who is responsible to work with Engineering and Data team to manage Marine Chartering and Operations systems. The Product Manager works closely with others to set the vision and strategic direction for digital products to service customers, owns the product roadmap, accountable for managing product delivery and day-to-day operations of the product.

What you will do:

• Partner with Marine business stakeholders within Commercial to understand their roles & responsibility, their processes, and the existing systems to uncover new digital opportunities to transform our marine business.
• Create, own, and manage the product roadmap, ensuring the product vision and strategy is translated into planned product development activities for the delivery team to undertake.
• Communicate the product roadmap and business value of the product and/or product release to the delivery team, so that they understand the delivery and timing requirements, as well as the purpose behind the new product and/or product release.
• Manage product delivery in accordance with the product roadmap and report on program management variables such as tracking against the project scope, budget, timeline, and from a risk, capacity, and change perspective.
• Coordinate and manage product delivery milestones including releases and prioritise the product backlog as well as communicate any trade-offs to customers.
• Evaluate new digital business cases through consideration of investment costs and potential benefits / value generated.
• Manage the day-to-day operations of the products, which includes incident and problem management; coordinate effort in troubleshooting issues which include working with other external services that it uses
• Accountable for the functional solution design which include data architecture, integration architecture and solution architecture; ensure alignment with digital and corporate architecture standard together with Digital Enterprise Architect team
• Work closely with cyber security team to ensure product delivered are safe and secure according to the severity and risk of the application

What you will need:

• Bachelors\' degree or higher
• Proven track record in delivering complex projects (i.e.: > USD1mil) as a Lead Business Analyst or Project/Product Manager or Product Owner using Agile methodology.
• Experience managing enterprise solutions.
• Experience with Commodity trading and/or Marine operation is preferred.
• Certified Product Owner or Scrum Master is preferred.
• Having human centred design or design thinking experience will be a plus.
