Position : Product Marketing Manager (Must be from Safety Products Background/PPE/Consumables) - Up to $8000
Location : Bukit Batok (Relocating to Gul Link in July - Transport provided at Jurong East)
Working hours : Monday to Friday | 8.30am to 5.30pm
Salary (commensurate with experience) : Up to $8000 + Average 2 Month Variable Bonus + Annual Leaves + Medical Benefits

Main Responsibilities:
To solidify and grow Safety Division by understanding market
requirements, and developing short-term and long-term product sales strategies, thereafter managing and achieving key objectives set
Facilitate Safety Product sales growth via developing short-term and long-term product sales strategies, thereafter managing and achieving key objectives set.
Product Management
Refining and building product range, thereby obtaining new complementary distributorship or products
Discussing, managing targets and maintaining distributorship for manufacturer\'s products.
Supporting and working with sales team to gather market information to develop sales strategy and refine product range (i.e. product issue, new/product/transition, technical advice, product sourcing, etc)
Conducting product training for sales, customer service and overseas distributors
Maintaining professional and technical knowledge by attending relevant workshops and participating in publications or societies
Liaising with marketing to come out with contents for monthly email advertisement.
Analysis and adoption of effective marketing channels.
Assist with new product or principal launch
Purchasing/Pricing Matters/Tenders
Securing new complementary distributorship or products
Discussing, managing targets and maintaining distributorship for principals\' products.
Prepare the quarterly Business Development Plan and execute stipulated targets and objectives
Work with sales team to gather market information to develop sales strategy and refine product range
Work with marketing/design team to build and develop company products brand equity through activities
Market analysis to devise product price positioning, balancing profit margin and acceptable market pricing
Upkeep of product price book and liaising with Purchasing for update in ERP system
Assisting in Tender / Project Accounts by shortlisting products, providing updated product costing and liaising with principals to fix tender agreement duration
Assisting in Purchasing related matters with Inventory Planner, Purchasing and Principals to discuss on stock modules, contracted pricing and volume pricing
Have full authority to : -
Make purchasing decisions below SGD 10,000.00.
Make sales decisions of profit margin above designated percentage
Monitor and engage sales team in regards to Safety related sales
Requirements:
Bachelor\'s degree in Chemical Engineering / Engineering with Safety Products experience of at least 3 years
Must have product management experience
Highly organised, meticulous and on schedule to manage Safety Product portfolio.
Able to travel locally and regionally
Possess Class 3 Driving License
Bilingual in both english and mandarin to communicate with chinese clients who can only speak mandarin.
