Product Marketing Manager - Centre of Excellence for Energy Market (Hioki Group)



Location: Singapore



Reporting to: Product Marketing Director (Global HQ)





Overview:



Are you a seasoned product marketing professional with a passion for the dynamic energy sector? Hioki is rapidly expanding our global footprint and accelerating our growth within the energy market. We're establishing a new Centre of Excellence (CoE) in Singapore, and we're looking for a Product Marketing Manager to be a pivotal part of this exciting journey.



In this high-impact role, you'll be the content and market owner for our energy solutions. Your core mission will be to deeply understand customer needs across key segments like data centres, smart grids, power generation and distribution, renewable energy (including ESS, PV, wind, hydrogen, geothermal), and critical infrastructure. You'll then leverage this insight to craft compelling content that firmly establishes Hioki as a trusted provider of essential solutions in these vital areas.



Key Responsibilities



1. Customer Understanding



Investigate customer pain points

across the energy sector

Map customers' jobs-to-be-done

and

segment customer needs

to identify high-potential areas.

Identify product opportunities

based on market gaps and customer insights.

Collaborate with Product Management

to propose new product developments to the board of directors.

2. New Product Introduction and Go-to-Market Strategies



Own the Hioki New Product Introduction (HiNPI) process

for energy solutions.

Identify target customers

within chosen market segments for new product launches.

Partner with Product Management

to develop high-impact internal and customer-facing content that accelerates new product adoption.

Collaborate with Marketing Communications (MarCom)

to select the most effective delivery channels for comprehensive go-to-market strategies.

3. Marketing Campaigns



Plan, execute, and analyze global marketing campaigns

designed to achieve specific business objectives.

Design targeted campaigns

that drive awareness, engagement, and demand for Hioki's energy solutions.

Work closely with global MarCom, domestic branches, and international subsidiaries

to ensure seamless campaign execution.

Analyze campaign effectiveness

, pinpoint areas for improvement, and implement data-driven adjustments to optimize future initiatives.

4. Thought Leadership



Track the digital customer journey

in collaboration with our data analysis team.

Identify friction points

in the customer journey and develop content to ensure a smooth, engaging experience.

Maintain an active and influential presence on social media platforms

(LinkedIn, YouTube, WeChat, Little Red Book, etc.), serving as a trusted resource for energy testing and measurement insights.

Create authentic and compelling content

that positions Hioki as a leader in the energy sector.

What You'll Bring:



The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker and hands-on doer with a proven track record in the energy industry. You'll have:


Demonstrated experience in

defining, executing, and analyzing successful marketing campaigns

. A history of successfully

introducing at least five new products to the energy market

. The ability to

build strong trust with customers

, earning their respect as a valuable resource. Exceptional skills in delivering

effective, customer-facing presentations

.

A minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience with Test & Measurement (T&M) equipment

gained at a utility, renewable energy facility, data center, or in commercial building automation. Proven experience collaborating effectively with

Marketing Communications (MarCom), Product Management (PM), and sales organizations

. A strong grasp of

segmentation, targeting, and promotion strategies

. A

technical degree (BS or MS in Electrical Engineering)

; a business degree is a plus. An active presence on platforms like

LinkedIn, YouTube, WeChat, Xiao Hong Shu, etc.

, with a knack for creating authentic, engaging content. Experience leveraging

AI tools

in your marketing efforts. *

Fluent in English; at least bilingual in Mandarin Chinese, Japanese or a Southeast Asian language
