About the Role:

The role contributes to the Ferrero Innovation Center operations and is aimed to ensure timely and efficient sourcing, handling, and local storage of most relevant Ferrero industrial products, that includes archiving and shipping if needed of the products according to the requests received from both, local and central teams. The incumbent will manage and organize tasting sessions (sensory analysis through different types of tests depending on the objective and needs) for requesting functions and finalization of report, in full alignment with central methodologies.

Main Responsibilities:

• Ensure proper sourcing and local archiving and storage of most relevant Ferrero industrial products, in full alignment with managers and existing regulations and policies
• Source, handle and ship Ferrero and other products of the Asian market, with the aim to propose most interesting local products that could inspire local and central developments
• Set up and monitors shelf life tests. Provide directions and methodologies to create and evaluate shelf life curves for tropical products (e.g. based on trade characteristics and consumer habits). Plan and participate in store checks
• Manage and organize tasting sessions (sensory analysis through different types of tests depending on the objective and needs) for requesting functions and manage the final report
• Selects and formalize local the tasting panel, aligning with central team for consistency checks
• Guarantee all the necessary back-office and operative activities including required documents / certifications for product shipping, manage custom procedures
• Evaluate external partners involvement to support relevant activities or operations

Who we are looking for:

• University degree in Food Science and related fields
• 3+ years of related professional experience in similar roles with the knowledge of Asian food cultures and curiosity for innovative food products
• High self-organization and structured way of working to maintain the database and efficiently archive relevant info
• Competency in managing work independently, as well as effectively collaborate on cross-functional projects
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Fluency in English, written and spoken, any Asian language is considered of a strong plus
• Advanced MS Office skills
• Frequent travel availability
• For the personal safety: physical ability to handle, carry, move packages and boxes at a regular basis (up to 4kg) is required
• For the personal safety: no allergy to food and dietary restrictions is requested, as role requires to taste all food, raw materials product and semi-finished products
