We are looking for talented & passionate Product Owners to shape awesome experiences for our Prospective & Existing Customers and our Distributors. These next generation product-platform experiences are being designed with a Purpose to Increase Revenue, Enhance Efficiency or Reduce Costs.

Key Responsibilities Include
Product Vision, Roadmap & Business Impact

  • Leveraging the overall Digital strategy, lead the vision and roadmap of the Product in partnership with Business Owners & Technology partners
  • Guide teams to define, build, maintain and continuously improve the Product to support the business growth and transformation
  • Work with business stakeholders to arrive at common agreements & understanding on business impact of the Platform
  • Ensure Articulation, Measurement & Publishing of key business KPIs that the Product(s) is built for
  • Build strategic engagement & anchor frequent/ regular governance with Service Providers for Underlying systems or outsourced vendors to build fast & build right


Delivery of agreed platform roadmap & realization of business benefits
  • Accountable for end-to-end delivery of Product roadmap
  • Ensure that Product roadmaps are prioritized against business needs
  • Ensure that functional requirements, wireframes, user journeys, design and product requirements, and other artifacts as needed to support technical design & development are developed and signed off from stakeholders
  • Maintain regular connect and engagement with key stakeholders periodically to refine platform; Lead the team to work towards optimizing the product value based on the feedback
  • Work in agile framework to break down the product plans and deliver best-in-class product experiences; work with Scrum Master/Business Analysts to define, groom & clean product backlog & continuously requalify requirements


Product Maintenance
  • Proactively identify and resolve any strategic issues that may impact the team\xe2\x80\x99s ability to meet strategic, financial, and technical goals
  • Develop and leverage in-depth understanding of business, user, market & competition insights
  • Proactively present progress against those goals (e.g. dashboard building) to business & platform stakeholders
  • Define responsibilities for Production Support and Triage teams within Platform team to manage and resolve incidents/ production defects timely. Ensure that incident reports are filed timely. Ensure that learnings from incidents are baked into preventive steps and proactive monitoring to minimize future disruptions.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory & compliance requirements
  • Use data to monitor, track and continuously improve on performance


Business Analysis
  • Work with Business Analyst(s) to ensure in-depth understanding of business processes and articulation of use-cases / user-stories and acceptance criteria
  • Collaborate actively with BA Head


Engineering Delivery
  • Work with Software Engineering teams to analyse, design, deliver and support applications to meet business objectives; Ensure that Solution Design Documentation is maintained and updated
  • Collaborate actively with Chief Engineer


Team collaboration
  • Ensure that team has clarity of purpose and direction
  • Build collaboration between team members & business partners
  • Responsible for team KPIs
  • Manage stakeholders, including influencing and persuading, as part of applications delivery and support
  • Manage resource plans together with BA & SE Heads
  • Accountable for planned budget, acquiring of budget (ACR) and spending (invoice approval)


Experience & Education:
  • At least 8 years of total experience & min 3 years of experience in software products delivery
  • Managing and delivering customer-centric software products and services in a high growth environment
  • Demonstrate passion for transformative user experiences
  • Lead cross-functional and cross-company teams to deliver product experience & projects timely
  • Experience with Vendor Engagement & RFI, RFP
  • In depth understanding of Insurance, Insurance products, market and processes is advantageous
  • Bachelor\'s degree in information technology, computer science, engineering or related field; MBA or other relevant degrees will be added advantages


Stakeholder Management & Technical Skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated experience engaging and influencing senior leaders
  • Strong experience in Digital Product management and UX
  • Demonstrate ability to understand and discuss Product strategy and manage trade-offs
  • Proven track record of taking ownership and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to use data and metrics to drive performance and continuous improvements
  • Strong negotiation skills - able to balance the role, priorities & stakeholders
  • Experience in Agile methodologies(preferred)
  • Competent in Jira and Confluence
  • Need to be able to effectively communicate Product vision and features with Business leaders & Business Partners
