The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter with a passion for product training, trade marketing and excellent communication skills. The Product Training and Trade Marketing Executive will be responsible for developing and executing product training programs for our retail sales team, conducting competitor research and benchmarking, and planning and managing trade activities. Our client is a well-established brand in Singapore that has a significant presence in the healthcare, consumer electronics, and lighting industries. The company is committed to innovation and sustainability and is continuously investing in research and development to create products that improve people\'s lives while reducing their impact on the environment. Responsibilities: Product Training:
  • Plan and curate the training calendar and program for client\'s Personal Care and Mother and Childcare products, adapting content to meet local requirements.
  • Design and execute orientation programs for retail sales team, including customers, ensuring that they have the knowledge, tools and methods required to promote products and drive brand visibility and sell-through.
  • Conduct onboarding training sessions for new hires in-store personnel and internal office staff.
  • Develop and deliver training methods such as role-play, online/ classroom, quizzes, gamification, case studies, and group activities.
  • Manage training logistics and administration, including maintaining updated records of training curriculum and materials.
  • Conduct field observation to identify areas for improvement and determine training needs.
  • Consolidate and analyze training evaluations for refining training roadmap, including competitor analysis.
Competitor Intel:
  • Keep up-to-date with competitor\'s promotions, activities, and products.
  • Highlight and provide timely updates on competitor launches, and use insights to ascertain effectiveness.
  • Benchmark competitors across personal care and Mother and Childcare segments, with merchandisers\' assistance.
Trade Activities Planning and Management:
  • Work with cross-functional teams to plan and execute offline market launch activities for new product launches.
  • Work closely with design agencies to create promotional materials.
  • Work with Sales team to plan roadshows, and work with suppliers for logistics planning.
  • Assist with on-site roadshow management if required.
