Human by nature.Production Compounder (6 month contract) - Your future position?Location: Woodlands, SingaporeReporting to: Assistant Production ManagerAs a Production Compounder, you will follow established procedures and guidelines by delivering production orders assigned by the Shift Leader to perform a variety of simple, manual tasks of a production process.Main ResponsibilitiesProduction OperationUnder supervision of more experienced Operator/Leader, perform basic operation of designated machines and production equipment. Common tasks involve one of the following activities: compounding, dispensing, packaging, and washing.Collect intermediates or raw materials, move and load it into production machines.Understand bill of materials or formula specifications, so the proper quantities of materials are added in the proper sequence.Manufacture product according to predefined process instructions to meet specific quality standards.Read control instruments, prepare neat & accurate records for all operationsTroubleshoot problems under guidance of senior team membersHelp perform in-process quality testing to ensure customer specifications are met. Identify deviations and document/communicate them in compliance with Standard Operating ProceduresPrepare product packaging for next step in production or for final shipment to customer according to department specificationsMaintain neat and clean shop floor and workplace and complete all sanitation and housekeeping dutiesWork observing all relevant requirements including, but not limited to GMP, HACCP, FDA, FSSC and internal safety guidelinesProcess ImprovementProactively identify process improvements.Participate in Lean activities in designated areas.Professional Experience3 to 4 years of experience in manufacturing industryTechnical SkillsSAP bar coding/scanning experience preferredBasic math, reading and recordkeeping skillsExperience in using RF scanner and labellingIngredient knowledge around colour, odour, order of addition and other pertinent quality factorsAble to lift up to 25 kgOur BenefitsAttractive package with benefitsExcellent opportunities for progressive learning and developmentA creative team environment that will inspire youComprehensive healthcare plansPTO and family leaveAt Givaudan, you contribute to delightful taste and scent experiences that touch people\'s lives.
