Human by nature.Production Compounder (6 month contract) - Your future position?Location: Woodlands, SingaporeReporting to: Assistant Production ManagerAs a Production Compounder, you will follow established procedures and guidelines by delivering production orders assigned by the Shift Leader to perform a variety of simple, manual tasks of a production process.Main ResponsibilitiesProduction Operation

• Under supervision of more experienced Operator/Leader, perform basic operation of designated machines and production equipment. Common tasks involve one of the following activities: compounding, dispensing, packaging, and washing.
• Collect intermediates or raw materials, move and load it into production machines.
• Understand bill of materials or formula specifications, so the proper quantities of materials are added in the proper sequence.
• Manufacture product according to predefined process instructions to meet specific quality standards.
• Read control instruments, prepare neat & accurate records for all operations
• Troubleshoot problems under guidance of senior team members
• Help perform in-process quality testing to ensure customer specifications are met. Identify deviations and document/communicate them in compliance with Standard Operating Procedures
• Prepare product packaging for next step in production or for final shipment to customer according to department specifications
• Maintain neat and clean shop floor and workplace and complete all sanitation and housekeeping duties
• Work observing all relevant requirements including, but not limited to GMP, HACCP, FDA, FSSC and internal safety guidelines

Process Improvement

• Proactively identify process improvements.
• Participate in Lean activities in designated areas.

Technical Skills

• SAP bar coding/scanning experience preferred
• Basic math, reading and recordkeeping skills
• Ingredient knowledge around colour, odour, order of addition
• Able to lift up to 25 kg
