Adecco is partnering with a Chemical manufacturer with plant located in Jurong Island, in search of a Production Department Manager to lead operations. Our client is a multinational company with historical local presence and an established plant operating in Singapore.The JobAs the Department Manager of Production, you will be responsible for overall operations productivity & efficiency through optimising resource allocation, KPI monitoring and driving process improvements within the plant. You will be the key person to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence through identifying areas of improvement, implementing lean manufacturing concepts & culture into the production team. You will be managing a sizable team and ensuring that they are up-to-skill, equipped with the necessary knowledge to perform their responsibilities effectively.The Talent

• Degree in Chemical Engineering or related field with at least 5 years work experience as Production Manager in the chemical/polymer/plastic manufacturing industry
• Strong knowledge in chemical manufacturing processes, EHS regulations and ISO certification processes.
• Strong interpersonal skills and presentation skills
• Strong leadership skills in managing a team, staff development with a decisive approach
