Job Summary

You are responsible for the day to day management of our custom-build job fabrication environment, to maximize productivity and cost-savings. This will require you to plan, implement and monitor work schedules and supervise the production process with various parties. You will also need to evaluate and resolve any production-related discrepancies and problems, as well as ensure meeting all permits required by regulatory authorities

Responsibilities

Work with the production team to innovate and improve existing fabrication processes. Develop and implement quality control measures to repeatedly deliver desired results. Oversee the maintenance of factory and equipment for maximum safety and efficiency. Adhere to statutory requirements and company enforced rules and regulations Coordinate with project personnel to receive/clarify customers' requirements. Apply problem solving skills and work with production supervisors, draftsmen to derive fabrication solutions upon receipt of design drawings. Value engineer solutions to optimize cost savings. Plan production processes and allocate/deconflict resources for scheduling delivery. Track production output, cost and progress to ensure quality, budget and delivery targets are met. Coordinate and work with specialist vendors to ensure quality and project requirements are met. Lead, organize or participate in daily discussions to ensure smooth production operations.

Requirements

Minimum Diploma or Bachelor degree in Engineering; At least 2+ years proven experience in production/industrial engineering; managerial experience a plus Familiarity with CAD software Proficiency using Microsoft Office Possess a wide breadth of knowledge in Engineering & materials know-how Excellent communication skills Ability to maintain positive vendor and client relationships Strong coordination skills, organized and an energetic people-person with an eye for details Self-driven, results-oriented, thorough and is able to work well under pressure Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
