Job Description
Wieland Metals Singapore, founded in 1989, is the main representative of the Wieland Group in Asia. As a service center, with a state-of-the-art cold rolling mill, two high-performance slitting lines and eight milling lines, Wieland Metals Singapore offers a broad portfolio of strip in copper and high-performance alloys tailored to individual customer requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Comply with safe work practices, ISO procedures, rules and regulations.
- Participate in continuous 5S & TPM improvement initiatives.
- Target time calculation and review for different machines and material.
- Training and Implementation of TPM - Autonomous Maintenance.
- Training and implementation of Kanban.
- Visual management for various machines and tools.
- Professional Certificate/NiTEC or Diploma in Manufacturing, Industrial or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Good verbal and writing skills in English
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
- Knowledge of LEAN management (TPM, 5S & OEE) is preferred
- Committed, self-starter and team player
- Good in analyzing and solving problems
