Job Description

Responsibilities





Lead and manage the Production Department to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing operations in line with production plans and company objectives. Oversee day-to-day production activities across all manufacturing facilities to achieve targets in productivity, quality, and safety. Plan and allocate resources effectively, assign work tasks, and monitor performance to ensure production schedules are met. Track production KPIs, analyse variances, identify root causes, and implement corrective or preventive measures to improve performance. Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and operational procedures, including adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and company SOPs. Develop, review, and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions, and risk assessments for the Production Department. Collaborate with management and relevant departments to establish and implement effective operational policies, systems, and continuous improvement initiatives. Work closely with the Safety Department to maintain compliance with regulatory standards such as NEA, PUB, MOM, and ISO/OHSAS requirements. Troubleshoot process deviations, investigate off-spec products or customer complaints in coordination with the Quality and Technology Departments. Maintain accurate reporting of daily production performance, material usage, and inventory. Identify training needs, support skill development, and promote continuous learning within the production team. Monitor plant equipment conditions, raise maintenance requests, and coordinate with relevant teams for timely servicing, repair, or replacement. Review and assess operational procedures to identify opportunities for efficiency, safety, and process improvements. Participate in project reviews, equipment commissioning, and the implementation of new production technologies and facilities.



Requirements





Bachelor's Degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or a related field. Relevant experience in chemical or pharmaceutical process plant operations, with proven leadership in managing production teams and plant activities. Sound knowledge of NEA & PUB environmental regulations and MOM / OHSAS 18001 / ISO safety standards. Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative and team-oriented approach.
