What does a Production Manager do?

This role who will support mainly our Tuas operation, primarily on new APS production process, will help us work with production in all continuous improvement projects related to touchless automation, reinvent project, quality and productivity improvement project; by having strong engineering background to Lead Continuous Improvement projects as well as Digitalization and Automation initiatives to reduce cost and drive productivity; targeting to the world class manufacturing.

Why we need you?

• Your minimum of 5-8 years of relevant working experience, at least 3 years in a Supervisory/Managerial will help us develop staff resources at sites to ensure the objectives are delivered on time, on budget and to the agreed quality standards as well as mentor and train operators on new manufacturing processes.
• Your Bachelor/ Diploma or equivalent in Mechanical / Industrial engineering or any other engineering background will help us drive operations & warehousing efficiencies to maximize output and reducing operation cost without compromising on products quality and be in charge with facility and machine maintenance activity to ensure machine running at optimum efficiency
• Your familiarity with production environment EHS knowledge will enhance Foster Safety Culture of the site and provides support in the development and execution of safety culture
• Your knowledge of manufacturing techniques and processes on VSM, Kaizen & Lean will help us work with production in all continuous improvement projects related to touchless automation, reinvent project, quality, and productivity improvement project as well as monitoring production yield/reject/scrap rate, improve production yield
• Your proficiency in both English and Mandarin languages will help create better communication within multi-national working environment
