Area of Responsibility

• To ensure that plant operate in full compliance with HACCP, GMP and Safety, Health, and environmental requirements
• To have regular review with the production team on target achievement; brainstorm and conduct data analysis on the troubles encountered; Strive for continuous improvements in safety, quality, cost and speed to deliver
• To coach, mentor, motivate and supervise team members and influence them to take positive actions and accountability for their assigned work.
• To Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the team, Encourage teamwork and collaboration horizontal and vertically with all stake holders, as a changing agent for improvement activities & projects
• To proactively manage changes in midst of tasks, identify potential crisis, and propose contingency plans.
• To participate in preparing project budget and proposal for capital expenditure.
• To actively involve in internal quality & safety audit as team member or lead according to needs.
• To perform ad-hoc duties or additional tasks as assigned by Head of Department.

• Source and negotiate with engineering vendor to ensure price and engineering specification meet requirement.
• Discuss with internal stakeholders on planning feasibility and specification.
• Attend to inspections from regulatory authorities.

• Degree in Engineering or its equivalent
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in Manufacturing working environment
• Familiar with SCDF regulations, MOM regulation of Workplace Safety and Health requirement, NEA regulations i.e. Fire Certificate renewal, Safety Compliance, use of Hazardous Substances, etc will be added advantages but not a must

• Ability to leverage established relationships and proven production techniques for success.
• Effective negotiation, strong interpersonal skills for problem solving.
• Positive working attitude and able to work independently and in team.
• Flexible with working hours particularly during project engagement period
