Activities

• To safely start up and shutdown the production equipment
• To safely operate, feed and unload the relevant machines within the department and follow the correct production processes
• To safely pack. wrap and strap various customer products manually and with the aid of a semi-automatic wrapper.
• To complete all necessary quality checks and inspections throughout the production and good inwards and outwards process
• To accurately assemble, pack, label all products to the required standard and specification and store in the required location ready for despatch
• To log on to the company IT system to sign off the relevant job information throughout each stage of production and distribution.
• To maintain tidy and clean working area and surroundings, and to adhere to the Company standards of housekeeping.
• To identify and source or supply all components and raw materials required prior to each production and distribution process.
• To ensure that the relevant Health and Safety and Quality systems and procedures are followed and adhered to.
• To safely unload deliveries and load all despatch vehicles with prepared goods, within the agreed timescale, in accordance with the relevant process and procedures.
• If required, to adhere to all Health and Safety and internal procedures whilst operating and using a forklift or reach truck (valid licence / certificates required)
• To participate in Continuous Improvement and Problem-Solving training & activities within department and record all relevant data e.g., KPI\xe2\x80\x99s
• To keep up to date in the knowledge of all products made and supplied by the Company to the customer.
