The client is an Automotive Manufacturer and is looking for a Production Planner to join the team and manage the spare parts business through supplier and logistics management. As a Procurement Executive, the role involves having strong supplier management, supporting the end to end supply chain network and ensuring optimal inventory control.
As a Production Planner, the role involves having strong supplier management, supporting the end to end supply chain network and ensuring optimal inventory control.
Responsibilities include:
- Manage supplier deliveries, shipping and order management.
- Manage purchase orders and processes involving both imports and exports.
- Liaise closely with customers, suppliers and forwarders.
- Support continuous improvement projects to ensure efficiency in the business.
- Ensure cost effectiveness through inventory controls by managing the supply and demand of parts.
- Manage the systems and order reports for spare parts.
- Bachelors Degree in Logistics, Mathematics or any related discipline.
- Strong strategic acumen and great analytical skills.
- Individuals that are comfortable with managing data and systems.
- Extensive knowledge in the end to end process of supply chain.
- Ability to make decisions and is proactive.
