Roles & Responsibilities MAIN JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Reports to Production Manager and supervise >30 people
  • To start-up the new plant.
  • To ensure quantity and quality to meet business objectives with the best economics.
  • To ensure HSE best in class performances.
  • To foster his/her staff development and wellbeing at work.
TECHNICAL SCOPE
  • Production management:
  • Ensures the achievement of production targets.
  • Optimizes the running units, troubleshoots and improves the process reliability.
  • Ensures the establishment of operating instructions.
  • Works management:
  • Ensures the organization and implementation of maintenance operations with the Maintenance Coordinator.
MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES
  • He/she is in charge of the management of the shift staff
  • Leads, manages, coordinates and motivates his/her team through proper communication of missions / values / objectives, hands-on support and proposes appropriate training plan
  • Ensures the management of the schedule of the staff.
  • Ensures the application of management rules.
  • Ensures the training of newcomers, then validates the ability to hold the position.
  • Participates in the career plan of the Operations teams.
HEALTH, SAFETY, ENVIRONMENT, QUALITY AND MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS
  • Implements rules / procedures / good practices based on Arkema Integrated Management System
  • Detects and address potential risks in HSEQ field
  • Involved in emergency plan development, emergency event management and investigation
  • Implements improvement programs in accordance with site directions and priorities in HSEQ field
EDUCATION
  • Degree in chemistry/chemical engineering, with more than 10 years of significant experience in the same kind of manufacturing.
KNOWLEDGE
  • Practical knowledge in chemical engineering.
  • Risks management related to hazardous chemical process.
  • Knowledge of the main rules of staff management.
SKILLS
  • Problem solving skills and good organizational skills.
  • Good communication skills (reporting and issuing instructions).
  • Decision-making.
