Job Description

The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all production activities to ensure efficient and high-quality manufacturing processes. This role includes managing production teams, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and continuously optimizing processes to increase productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate production activities, including assembly, testing, and First Article (FA) builds, ensuring smooth operations across the production line. Plan and organize production schedules, assign tasks and priorities, and allocate resources to meet production targets. Monitor production processes and equipment, ensuring that all work is carried out with maximum efficiency, while meeting quality and safety standards. Train, mentor, and provide feedback to production staff, including Production Leads, fostering growth and ensuring high performance. Ensure compliance with production schedules, deadlines, and quality requirements to meet customer demands and internal standards. Identify and troubleshoot production issues, investigate root causes, and implement corrective actions to maintain production flow. Continuously evaluate and optimize production processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and maximize productivity. Enforce and maintain safety protocols, ensuring a safe working environment and minimizing accidents or injuries. Conduct regular inspections of production areas and equipment, identifying maintenance needs and ensuring equipment is in optimal working condition. Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, components, and finished products, collaborating with supply chain and logistics teams to ensure timely availability of resources. Work closely with engineering, quality control, and maintenance teams to resolve production issues and implement improvements. Analyze production data and key performance indicators (KPIs), identifying trends, improvement opportunities, and areas that need attention. Maintain accurate production records, reports, and documentation, ensuring compliance with company policies and standards. Clearly communicate production goals, expectations, and performance metrics to the production teams, ensuring alignment with overall objectives. Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement among all production staff. Lead and coach a team of over 50 Operators and Technicians, ensuring that all team members are motivated and well-supported to achieve production goals.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in a production or manufacturing environment, preferably in a supervisory role. Strong leadership and team management skills. In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and quality control. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely manner. Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Commitment to maintaining safety standards and improving operational efficiency.
