Activities

To ensure that all work is completed in a safe manner following Sonoco and Singapore safety rules
To participate and oversee all manufacturing operations to meet customer and corporate requirements.
To liaise with relevant colleagues to ensure adequate supply of raw materials and finished goods to meet customer requirements
To recruit and train Production Operators to meet the required standards of safety, quality and productivity.
To identify and source or supply all components and raw materials required prior to each production and distribution process.
To ensure that the relevant Health and Safety and Quality systems and procedures are followed and adhered to.
To maintain all equipment and machinery to ensure safety and reliability, whilst minimising production downtime
To ensure the working environment is tidy and clean working area and surroundings, and to adhere to the Company standards of housekeeping
To participate in Continuous Improvement and Problem-Solving training & activities within department and record all relevant data e.g., KPI\xe2\x80\x99s
To keep up to date in the knowledge of all products made and supplied by the Company to the customer.

Required

Background at least 5 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in Manufacturing / Engineering
Degree or Equivalent in an Engineering Discipline / proven experience as a Mechanical / Electrical Craftsperson / Technician or equivalent
Good working knowledge of Mechanical / Electrical practises Including Electrical, Mechanical, Pipework Pumps etc.
Some basic knowledge / experience of hands-on maintenance in some discipline
English \xe2\x80\x93 written and verbal
