To lead a small team of production operators in terms of safety, quality, productivity, and timely delivery to external customers with the intent of continuous improvement and leading results to achieve sustainable plant goals.

• Lead the Safety Culture and conditions for a Safe Working Environment. Check and enforce personnel hygiene & safety procedures (e.g. PPE, shoe change & hand wash, LOTO, etc.)
• Ensure that finished products are consistently manufactured according to standards of quality, relevant manufacturing standard (compliance) and timeline
• Ensure that the working areas are kept clean and are maintained in working order in accordance with site Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
• Manage Production effectively through operational reviews and use SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) to ensure sustainable results
• Use of Basic Problem-Solving tools and knowledge sharing (OPLs) to drive continuous improvements
• Participate in the execution of IL6S (Integrated Lean Six Sigma) roll out plan for the site
• Ensure the identified development plan and assure the competencies of his/her team as per the agreed plan with Production Manager (proper training, equipment, safety procedures, hygiene)
• Undertake any other duties as assigned by superiors from time to time
• Arrange the team to perform Cleaning and Sanitation for production process equipment when required
• Ensure good housekeeping, hygiene and safe work practices during his in charge.

Requirements:

• Nitec or Diploma in any relevant field
• Minimum 3 years of supervisory and hands-on experience in preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance of machines and equipment
• Strong Communication skills and the ability to positively confront and effectively deal with non-compliance
• Strong Analytical, Problem-solving skills and good decision making
• Proficiency in MS Office tools
• Able to work in rotating shift pattern
• Experience in Food Industry, Lean Six Sigma and SAP will be an added advantage
