Production Support Engineer/Senior Engineer

As our Production Support Engineer/Senior Engineer, you will provide engineering support for production and maintenance activities to ensure you optimize their efficiency. In addition, you need to maintain an up-to-date BM list and inventory, as well as be hands-on in the procurement of components and mechanical parts in preparation for the products production.

• Develop operating instructions and equipment specifications for production activities
• Stay current with product specifications, engineering technology and production processes.
• Maintain optimum stock levels of raw materials and finished goods to achieve up to 3 months production cycle and 6-8 weeks order fulfilment
• Develop best practices to improve production capacity, quality and reliability.
• Implement cost reduction initiatives while maintaining high quality standards
• Engineering change for component obsolescence and regular cost down exercise
• To lead in-house production cycle including production planning, materials, final assembly, product testing, packaging/labelling, Quality Control
• Develop process improvements to effectively utilize equipment and materials to maximize production
• Evaluate current production activities and make recommendations for improvements
• Provides training and guidance to team members to accomplish production goals
• Investigate problems, analyze root causes and derive resolutions.
• Aid in budget preparation and monitor expenses and profitability

• Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Engineering (Industrial), Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Mechatronic/Electromechanical) or equivalent.
• Knowledge in SMT, PCB Assembly, Product Management, ERP, Production Planning, Purchasing, Cost Down, NPI.
• At least 5 Year (s) of working experience in the related field is an added advantage
