What you\'re going to do

As a Professional Business Analyst in a leading software engineering company, you will work with highly skilled and experienced engineers who have their work measured against the highest standards.

The projects you work on will not only solve the customers\' problems but deliver the added value that defines all Adnovum\'s software solutions.

Main tasks and responsibilities include:

  • Stakeholders\' expectation management
  • Requirements management, elicitation, analysis, modelling, validation and negotiation with stakeholders
  • Requirements documentation, traceability matrix, scope and change management
  • Requirements modelling including business process flows, business data entities, UI data and rules, and other modelling required to deliver an easy to read and structured requirement specification
  • Ensure good coverage of test specifications against functional and non-functional requirements
  • Assist in defining test scenarios and test cases and reviewing test results against the requirements specification
  • Conduct detailed analysis on business data requirements and data dictionary to define data mapping and relationship with upstream and downstream business systems
  • Improve requirements engineering process, techniques, tools, best practices and documentation templates
What we\'re looking for

Candidates applying for this vital position should possess / be:
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science/ Engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years of working experience (last 2 years in Singapore) with proficiency in the following areas as professional business analyst or equivalent role:
  • Requirement analysis modelling tools (such as BPMN, UML, Use Case, Process Flow, ERD) using Visio or equivalent
  • Stakeholder management and requirement scope management
  • Requirement lifecycle management (such as planning, organization, gap analysis, documentation, traceability matrix, change management)
  • Requirement verification and validation
  • Agile BA with product backlog grooming, user stories, acceptance criteria definition
  • Quality assurance on software delivery against requirement specification by reviewing test plan, test specification and test result
  • Solid track records of performing all BA activities as defined in the job responsibilities using proven BA techniques and practices
  • Solid project experience with BFSI, preferably experience in Wealth management, Credit Loans systems
  • Self-motivated business domain specialist with deep analytical skills and detail-oriented mindset in delivering high quality deliverables and documentation
  • Good understanding of software requirement engineering concept, principles and practices
  • Strong client-facing interaction skills including negotiation and influencing skills
  • Strong commitment with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage changing priorities on requirements
  • Great team player with good initiative and cooperative attitude in maintaining an effective teamwork environment
Plus to have:
  • Master\'s degree in Computer Science/ Engineering or equivalent
  • Professional certifications in Business Analysis
  • Relevant project experience in:
  • Project co-ordination for software application development
  • Functional test management and test scenario documentation
  • Business Process Management (BPM) system implementation
  • Modern web application development and implementation
  • Web Content Management (WCM) system implementation
  • Mobile application development and implementation
  • Business Intelligence (BI) system implementation
