The role holder should ideally be experienced with account management, accreditation, certification, membership and have strong administrative experience, be comfortable in talking to members, industry, academia, governmental bodies and other professional bodies on a regular basis, be comfortable with using a CRM, have good attention to detail, be hard working and a team player who is ambitious to learn and develop. Main Responsibilities \xc2\xb7 Ensuring compliance with the IMarEST\xe2\x80\x99s Royal Charter and By-Laws, the terms of the Institute\xe2\x80\x99s license\'s from the Engineering Council and Science Council and other IMarEST/Engineering Council/Science Council rules and regulations in relation to the below responsibilities and supporting all licensee reviews. \xc2\xb7 Promoting Professional Development and Membership across all disciplines of the IMarEST. \xc2\xb7 Maintaining and improving processes and documentation relating to your areas. Accreditation \xc2\xb7 Providing administrative support to the accreditation process for marine engineering, science and technology programmes, ensuring compliance with established standards. \xc2\xb7 Maintaining accreditation records, communicate with accredited institutions, and conduct periodic site visits. \xc2\xb7 Collaborating with the Professional Development Manager to enhance accreditation criteria and procedures as needed. \xc2\xb7 Ensuring there is a sufficient pool of suitably qualified and experienced volunteers to carry out licensed activities and that a geographical spread is developed in order to support efficient and effective delivery. Membership \xc2\xb7 Providing excellent member support, addressing inquiries, and resolving issues promptly. \xc2\xb7 Supporting the Regional Manager with Marine and Bulk Membership, including invoicing and note taking at meetings. \xc2\xb7 Promoting membership across the three professions ensuring IMarEST\'s continued growth and influence in the field. Administrative Tasks \xc2\xb7 Maintain accurate records, databases, and reports related to accreditation and membership. \xc2\xb7 Assist in budget management, financial reporting, and procurement related to assigned responsibilities. Key Attributes and Skills Required: - Previous experience in accreditation, membership engagement, and/or account management is highly desirable - Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and using a CRM - Strong organizational and project management skills - Attention to detail - A positive, can-do attitude - Relationship building - Familiarity with the marine industry or professional organisations is aplus. The post holder may be required to: a. undertake additional or other duties as necessary to meet the needs of the Institute b. work hours which sit outside of a standard working day c. travel locally and internationally as part of the role (10-15% of the role) The post holder must be legally entitled to work in the Singapore This job description may be reviewed and amended as appropriate in light of any changes to the Institute.
