PROGRAM ENGINEER

Responsibilities:

Perform BOM consolidation, optimize component type in a BOM to reduce lead time and cost Keep component database up-to-date; advice on new variant, deviation due to component changes; ensure ECO
is submitted for required component related change


Check for part availability/ conduct the lead time assessment Co-coordinate ECO and follow up on closure Understanding of MPS, Material flow and Manufacturing Process flow Managing localization and new product transfer program Manage supplier base to achieve competitive cost, quality and delivery performance Generating purchasing order, expediting, re-scheduling and inventory Management Oversee the implementation and execution of projects project from bidding, first article inspection (FAI) to final
hand over


Handle technical/commercial reviews, clarifications with various departments and local / international customers. Planning, monitor schedule development, tracking and co-ordination on project documentation, purchasing,
planning, quality, shipping, invoicing and cost.


Responsible for sourcing and support RFQ of electronics and mechanical parts for new and existing projects. Alternate sourcing and support cost reduction program Prepare and update reports when necessary. Uploading data in SAP system (data processing) - RAW, FGS, MPN/AMPL, RIP /source list, BOM, routing).

Requirements:

Diploma in Mechanical or Electronics Engineering with preferred 2 years relevant experience or equivalent Experience in Machining / Stamping / Sheet metal/PCBA related industry environment and component sourcing
knowledge


Understanding of Machining / Stamping / Sheet metal/PCBA manufacturing processes Hands-on, independent, resourceful and takes initiative Effective communication skills between cross-functional teams, across all working levels Demonstrates discipline in timely execution of tasks Demonstrates flexibility/adaptability to changes Customer-focused and task oriented Team player who is analytical, resourceful and result-oriented Good communication and presentation skills Knowledge in SAP software Good written and oral communication skills Ability to travel when needed * Only Singaporeans
