Responsibilities

• Develop and execute technical deliverables, ensuring project requirements are met within allocated budget and schedule.
• Collaborate across different application teams to manage technical dependencies and ensure seamless solution integration.
• Identify, monitor, and manage risks/issues related to technical delivery, proactively addressing any potential roadblocks.
• Work closely with System Analysts and Business Solution Specialists to understand and finalize functional and technical requirements.
• Partner with Architects and Development Leads to ensure that solution designs adhere to enterprise design principles, security, and control standards.
• Lead application teams in building enhancements and ensure smooth coordination with the Development Manager.
• Collaborate with the Test Manager to ensure comprehensive testing, including System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), performance/load testing, and application security testing.
• Efficiently manage technical implementation plans across application teams, ensuring a non-event production cutover and providing adequate post-implementation support.
• Escalate any issues that may impact project schedules in a timely manner and propose effective workarounds or resolutions.

Job Requirements

• Demonstrated business domain knowledge in Global Markets/Investment banking platforms.
• Proven track record of more than 12 years in developing and delivering global/regional IT capabilities for multi-national/regional companies, with annual budgetary responsibility.
• Over 5-7 years of leadership experience in managing large IT delivery teams
• Experience in effectively communicating with technical stakeholders.
• Previous experience in the banking industry is preferred.
• Expertise in implementing large-scale, highly available applications or other significant project implementations.
• Proficiency in service-oriented technologies and a strong focus on result-oriented delivery.
• Substantial experience in systems development, including coding, functional specifications, technical specifications, and systems development and testing
• Good understanding and experience in the software development cycle.
• Excellent communication skills, both with technical stakeholders and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, synthesis, system thinking, and solutioning skills.
