Project Controller (Finance)

Your responsibilities as a Shore Coordinator:

• Project Control: Understand what is happening on the projects, support our project controllers and be responsible for an unambiguous way of working.
• Translate project control into financial control.
• Working Capital Management: Monitoring timely and accurate cash flows for our projects.
• Budget & Forecasting: Prepare the budget and forecast for our projects, the salvage team, our vessels and equipments and the development of working capital.
• Operational Performance: Perform periodic checks to ensure we operate in line with Boskalis\' quality management procedures and the Boskalis Financial Control Framework.
• Participate in improvement projects.
• Reporting: Support the financial closing process and external reports by liaising with auditors and authorities.

Your qualities:

You can make your mark as Project Controller if you are:

• Diploma / Degree holder in Accountancy.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Able to work independently.
• Team player willing to go \'the extra mile\'.
• Pro-active, mature and takes initiative.
• Analytical and meticulous with good organization skills.
• Minimum of 10 years relevant working experience.
• Intrinsically motivated to understand and improve the organization, the team and yourself.
• Enthusiastic and communicatively strong financial who can tell the story behind the figures and get colleagues to move where necessary.
• Interested in the dynamic culture of Smit Salvage and contribute to further professionalization of the organization.
• Knowledge of Singapore Accounting Standards and Singapore CIT regulation is a plus.
• Able to travel to project sites for a prolonged period is a plus.

Your team: As a Project Controller you will work for SMIT Salvage Singapore. You will work together with the Singapore finance team and of course your colleagues on the project.

• Where you will work: You will work at our office in Singapore and at project locations worldwide.

• Full-time: The Project Controller position is full-time.
