Project Director (Construction & Development)
About the Role:
This role leads the full lifecycle delivery of complex, large-scale building projects, overseeing design, execution to budgeting, risk management and final handover. It encompasses strategic project leadership, tender and contract management, stakeholder engagement and ensuring compliance with regulatory, safety and quality standards.
This role also drives innovation, develops high-performing teams and fosters long-term client relationships to support business growth.
Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end delivery of large-scale construction projects, from design to completion and handover.
• Develop and implement project strategies, budgets, schedules, and risk management plans.
• Build, lead, and manage multi-disciplinary teams while ensuring strong stakeholder communication.
• Oversee tenders, contracts, subcontractors, and ensure projects meet cost, time, and quality targets.
• Drive compliance with safety, sustainability, regulatory, and quality assurance standards.
• Manage client relationships, resolve project issues, and foster innovation and continuous improvement.

Pre-requisites:

• Possess a Master's Bachelor's Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, Construction Management or any related building discipline
• Comes with min 20 years & above experience managing complex building projects, including 10 years in a Project Director role, with proven success in delivering full-cycle projects above $100 million in value.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore building codes, regulatory frameworks, authority submissions, and contract management standards.
• Professional accreditation (e.g., A-Star Construction Professional, PMP) will be an advantage.
• Demonstrated leadership, client management skills and high commitment to safety, sustainability and quality excellence.
