JOB DESCRIPTION:

Develop and perform design calculations for ACMV (Air Conditioning and Mechanical Ventilation), HVAC, and Control Systems Prepare construction drawings, shop drawings, method statements, and ensure compliance with local codes and regulations Oversee and coordinate M&E (Mechanical & Electrical) services on-site including installation, testing, and commissioning activities Monitor project schedules and work programs to ensure timely completion of tasks Determine project specifications by analyzing product designs, customer requirements, and performance standards Conduct technical studies and prepare cost estimates Liaise with clients, main contractors, and consultants to track project progress and address project-related matters Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure timely material delivery Maintain a safe work environment and ensure adherence to quality and safety standards Supervise subcontractors' work to ensure quality output aligned with client requirements Assist the Project Manager in evaluating progress claims and verifying quantities and quality of completed work Perform any other duties as assigned by management

Job requirements & skills

Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Engineering (Mechanical) or equivalent Proficiency in English (written and spoken) Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience, preferably in ACMV system design and supervision Required Skill(s): Lots of initiative, Great organizational skills, Confident decision-making ability, Excellent communications skills, The ability to work within budgets and to deadlines, Good team-leading skills, Able to work under pressure, Good interpersonal skills and pro-active in problem-solving Specialization in ACMV engineering is preferred * 5.5-day work week
