Job Description

Day-to-day responsibilities:


Design and develop mechanical and electrical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection. Coordinate with architects, consultants, and subcontractors to integrate M&E systems with overall building design. Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure timely project delivery. Supervise on-site installation and testing of M&E systems, ensuring compliance with specifications and safety standards. Conduct testing and commissioning of M&E systems to verify performance and functionality. Review and approve technical submissions, drawings, and method statements from subcontractors. Liaise with clients, authorities, and other stakeholders to resolve technical issues.

Qualifications and Requirements

Must-haves:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Proven track record of success in managing M&E projects. Strong technical knowledge of M&E systems and relevant building codes. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Nice-to-haves:

Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) certification. Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) and Building Information Modeling (BIM). Experience with sustainable or "green" building technologies. * Previous experience working in the construction industry.
