Our client, a leader in integrated security solutions, is looking for a
Security Systems Engineer / Project Engineer
to join their growing team. You will be responsible for end-to-end project planning, system installation, technical support, and quality assurance of security systems such as CCTV, access control, and intrusion detection.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project Planning & Design
Collaborate with sales staff and clients to understand and confirm security needs and requirements.
Reconfirm security design and solutions before execution, including CCTV, access control, intrusion detection, and other security systems.
Develop detailed project plans covering timelines, budgets, and resources.
Support material procurement and contractor allocation with the Project Manager.
2. System Installation and Integration
Oversee installation of security systems in compliance with industry standards and client specifications.
Integrate various security systems.
Conduct system testing and troubleshooting to ensure functionality.
3. Technical Support
Address technical and malfunction issues during the handover stage.
Provide technical information to Service and Operations teams during handover.
4. Documentation and Reporting
Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation, including design plans and installation records.
5. Client Communication and Training
Assist in conducting training sessions for clients and end-users.
Prepare system training materials for internal and external training.
6. Compliance and Safety
Ensure all security systems comply with regulations and standards.
Implement safety protocols during installation and maintenance.
Stay updated on advancements in security technology and industry trends.
7. Team Coordination and Management
Coordinate with project stakeholders, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams.
Monitor project progress and adjust plans to meet deadlines and budgets.
Liaise with suppliers on equipment models and quotations.
8. Quality Assurance
Conduct quality checks to ensure systems meet performance standards.
Implement best practices for installation and maintenance.
Adhere to safety and health procedures documented in ISO45001.
Requirements
a Diploma/Higher Nitec in Electrical and/or Electronics or any Engineering related courses
1-2 years' experience in site supervision and coordination with main contractors and subcontractors
Must have hands-on experience in alarm, card access and CCTV system installation knowledge.
Must be computer literate.
