Job Description

:

To attend all necessary meeting with clients or subcontractors during various stages of the project. Receives instructions from construction managers and distribute to subcontractor accordingly. The engineers shall take charge of day-to-day running and coordination of all site works, inspection and include testing and commissioning. To prepare detailed design and engineering of entire Electrical system. Carry out resources planning and control of materials, tools and equipment ordered and delivered. To ensure cost control, maintain project timeline and manage manpower resources for the project. To liaise with appointed Mechanical and Electrical PE for all submission to authorities. To attend to site progress meeting and site technical issues and report to Construction Manager. To attend and liaise with authorities for plan approval and site inspection including preparation and vetting drawings plan for submission to all Authorities. Will be the frontline contact with Civil and SWCs' representatives on site. Monitor daily site progress and update programme on the site progress report. Identify complex problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions. Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths & weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems. Responsible for technical support activities including installations, testing, commissioning, repair, modifications, preventative maintenance and troubleshooting of systems. Proficient in REVIT and AUTOCAD software applications. Handle and resolve technical and engineering problems. Other ad-hoc duties when assigned.

Job Requirement:

Working experience with LTA projects or similar government authority. Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/ Post Graduate Diploma/ Professional Degree in Engineering (Electrical/ Electronic) or equivalent. The Electrical Engineer shall have minimum of Five (5) years engineering experience after tertiary education with at least Three (3) years relevant experience in commercial mixed development projects of a similar size and complexity.
