About the Company

JL Cable Detection Pte Ltd is a specialist in underground utility detection, trial trenching, GPR scanning, pipe laying, and ERSS works. We support major infrastructure and construction projects across Singapore, ensuring safety, compliance, and accuracy in subsurface works.

Job Summary

We are hiring a Project Engineer to oversee and manage all ongoing projects across the company. You will coordinate with internal teams, clients, and authorities to ensure timely, cost-effective, and compliant execution of works.

Key Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day project execution from planning to completion Coordinate with site teams, subcontractors, clients, and authorities Ensure compliance with LTA, PUB, PowerGrid, and other regulatory bodies Monitor work progress, track deliverables, and resolve site issues promptly Review and update project documentation, including method statements and site reports Support trial trenching, and ERSS operations with technical input

Requirements

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in civil engineering or construction projects Diploma or higher in Civil Engineering or related field Monitor work progress, track deliverables, and resolve site issues promptly Strong knowledge of Singapore construction regulations and submission procedures Able to manage multiple projects independently Good communication and coordination skills Review and update project documentation, including method statements and site reports Familiarity with underground services, cable detection, or trial trenching is a bonus Support and document progress claims, variation orders, and final accounts
