Job Description

Manage day to day assigned engineering design tasks to meet varied project and internal engineering requests and monitor progress against schedules and deadlines. Development of own commercial acumen Tracking of hours spent on tasks/projects Generate engineering calculations, reports, specifications, procedures and engineered solutions in a timely manner to meet internal and external requests and any other project specific requirements Develop, in conjunction with CAD designers, all the required layout drawings, detail drawings, schematics and lists of materials necessary to support the engineering work. Provide office based technical support to offshore operations as required on projects during project execution phase. Maintain an up to date knowledge and understanding of relevant technology and standards/regulatory advances within the offshore energy industry Ensure that design work is conducted in line with client and regulatory standards and guidelines and with consideration for HSEQ, schedule and budget requirements Work in scoping activities from PM/client / preparation of BOD and project documentation Compile Equipment lists for construction jobs When offshore or on site, act as a source of technical knowledge, support, and oversight to ensure that the operations are conducted safely and as intended. Prepare / attend HAZIDs Attend JHA's Implement HSEQ policy, procedure and management system structures within areas of responsibility and ensure they are clearly communicated and adhered to. Direct the use of resources to ensure hazards and risks are identified, assessed, controlled and monitor HSEQ performance to identify improvements Identify, promote and develop innovative solutions and technologies, in collaboration with other MMA Offshore teams. Promote and implement improvement to existing products, processes and services Timesheets Raise PR's and PO's Approve PO's Oversee Document issuance and receipt Undertake other duties as required by Cyan, as directed by your supervisor / manager * Perform Project Manager duties, as required, for small engineering work scopes.
