Job Description

Pre-Construction Phase:

Review project plans, specifications, and design documents.

Assist in value engineering to optimize costs and improve project efficiency.


Develop preliminary project schedules and budgets.


Assist in selecting subcontractors and vendors.


Obtain necessary permits and approvals.

Construction Phase:

Oversee and coordinate all construction activities.

Manage and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors.


Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to schedules and budgets.


Implement and manage quality control and safety programs.


Address and resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise on-site.


Regularly communicate with the project owner or client to provide updates.


Keep detailed records of project activities, changes, and any incidents.


Conduct regular site meetings with stakeholders to review progress and address concerns.


Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and permit requirements.


Manage the procurement of materials, equipment, and services.


Review and approve subcontractor invoices and change orders.


Coordinate inspections and tests as required.

Post-Construction Phase:

Conduct a final walkthrough and inspection of the completed project.

Prepare and submit any necessary closeout documentation.


Assist with the resolution of punch list items and ensure completion.


Ensure that all required warranties, manuals, and as-built drawings are provided to the owner.


Hand over the completed project to the owner or client.

Overall Responsibilities:

Provide leadership and direction to the project team.

Manage project risks and identify potential issues.


Monitor and control project costs to ensure budget adherence.


Facilitate effective communication among project stakeholders.


Ensure that project goals for quality, safety, schedule, and budget are met.


Maintain a safe and organized construction site.
