Manage and direct ship repair, maintenance, construction and conversion programme.
Conduct and lead the daily VSCC meeting for maintenance programme including hot-works and incompatible jobs onboard to ensure safety of personnel and property are not endangered.
Meet repairs or maintenance schedule by planning, monitoring projects\' critical path, cost control and execution.
Develop good working relationship with customers and all level within the department.
Identify bottlenecks and solve daily conflict at ground level to highlight possible delays in advance, propose and execute corrective and preventive actions by monitoring and coordinating sequential and incompatible jobs affecting master schedule.
Closely liaise with ship owners, vessel crew to ensure successful completion of projection meeting or exceeding customer\'s expectations.
Meet contractual commitments and quality of repaired ship
Capture additional works and raise work list and provide information to Commercial dept for more competitive pricing.
Ensure compliance with contracts, specifications, regulatory, company, quality, environment, occupational health and safety standards and procedures.
Requirements:
Diploma or Degree in Marine / Mechanical / Naval Architecture Engineering
Possess Supervise Safety Instruction for Ship Repair Manager Certificate
Possess 2 to 4 years\' experience in similar capacity from marine industries.
Knowledge of shipyard production trade activities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Good leadership and communication skills
Willing to work overtime and on weekend when required.
Possesses SAP knowledge is an added advantage
