This role is ideal for someone with a
Quantity Surveying
or
Architectural
background who enjoys structure, clarity, and the technical side of project management. You will work closely with the Principal Architect on contract matters, site administration, documentation, and consultant coordination.
You will play a key role in ensuring contractual compliance, clear communication with contractors, and tracking of project deliverables.

Assisting Contract Administration
Interpret, apply and advise on
SIA 2016
and
PSSCOC
contract conditions
Prepare, issue, and track
Architect's Instructions (AIs)
,
Change Orders
,
NCRs
,
CFIs
, and project correspondences
Review contract clauses and ensure compliance across project stages
Assist in preparation and review of contractual documentation and submissions
Cost & Variation Management
Assist in assessment of
Variations / VOs
Prepare supporting documents, breakdowns, and comparisons
Coordinate with QS and contractor on cost submissions
Monitor cost impacts related to changes and site conditions
Site & Project Coordination
Attend site meetings remotely, minute-taking, and follow-up on action items
Track progress vs contractual obligations
Coordinate with consultants, RTO, and contractor on contractual or compliance matters
Assist in managing RFIs, method statements, and approvals
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain organised project records and contract logs
Update project registers: AI log, RFI log, VO log, material submissions, shop drawings
Support in preparing reports, certificates, and contract-related documentation
Ensure alignment between architectural drawings, specifications, and contract requirements
Requirements
Diploma or Degree in
Quantity Surveying
,
Architecture
,
Project Management
, or similar field
Strong knowledge of
SIA Building Contract
and/or
PSSCOC
At least 2-5 years experience in consultancy, QS practice, or contractor environment
Familiar with contract workflows, timelines, and documentation standards in Singapore
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Highly organised, meticulous, and comfortable with tracking details
Able to work independently and coordinate across multiple parties
Bonus: Experience with site certification, contract claims, extension of time (EOT), loss & expense (L&E), and assessment of variation submissions
Nice-to-Have (Optional)
Experience supporting an Architect or QS in consultancy environment
Familiarity with SCDF, BCA, and local authority submission processes
Experience in site supervision coordination
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and project coordination tools
