Primary Function:

  • We are seeking an experienced Project Implementation Manager to oversee and manage the implementation of Point of Care (POC) solutions in healthcare facilities in the SeaHAwk region.
  • The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing complex projects, exceptional communication and leadership skills, and a deep understanding of Point of Care Technology and the healthcare industry
Major Responsibilities:
  • Partner with the commercial organization in developing connectivity funnel and setting up key sites for SeaHAwk region; drive connectivity & data management as key value proposition; ensuring successful installation, configuration, validation, integration, and implementation effort for i-STAT connectivity solution with Hospital LIS/HIS/EMR
  • Coordinate with business partners and healthcare facility staff to ensure that Point of Care solutions meet their needs and requirement, and are integrated effectively with existing systems
  • Develop and execute innovative strategies and initiatives that support APOC business goals and key growth drivers (KGD). Collaborate with external partners and stakeholders to drive innovation and success to APOC business goals
  • To build competency and certification in providing first line service support and troubleshooting for business partners through F2F, online training/refresher training and on-site field guidance; drive share of voice and share of mind amongst end customers through Service Excellence for APOC
  • Subject Matter Expert and go-to-person for Connectivity, Informatics and i-STAT troubleshooting and networking for SeaHAwk region; working with the APOC International Technical Service (OUS TS) ensuring the issues are logged and resolutions are available. Drive improved customer support expertise and experience amongst distribution partners using scalable platforms
  • Act as point of reference for all product related enquiries and work collaboratively to facilitate the i-STAT Product troubleshooting, escalation, and investigation with colleagues in APOC International Technical Service (OUS TS), Product Quality Assurance (PQA) and Regulatory team
  • Report all inquiries and complaints with meaningful data to International Technical Service (OUS TS) and follow-up/input additional information if required
  • Close liaison with the Marketing & Business managers to assess the response to and suitability of current promotional material and to ensure that the printed promotional material is being used optimally
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of Point of Care solutions and identify opportunities for improvement and business opportunities to upscale the product/solution utilization
  • Monitor Region Customer Service effectiveness and recommend actions for productivity and revenue improvement
  • Maintains deep knowledge on Product, Scientific Literatures, and competitive solutions
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards
  • Any other duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Information Technology/Computer Science/Engineering or related disciplines
  • Minimum 10 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in Technical Service and Project Management within Diagnostics (IVD Instrumentation preferred) or Medical Device/Healthcare industry
  • Prior regional experience (SEAHAwK), with a deep understanding of local market and customer base preferably
  • Executed Product Activation on-site through demonstration and staff training for successful implementation of Product and solution
  • Demonstrated experience in relationship-building across multiple functions in hospital/clinical settings
  • Sound with Medical / Biomedical / Clinical terminologies, strong knowledge of relevant regulations and industry standards (e.g., CLIA, HIPAA)
  • Technical Savvy for product Integration & Troubleshooting
  • Familiar with SQL database, storage, backup/recovery, and server virtualization; FHIR; Health Level 7 v2; XML/JSON; JavaScript; Mirth Connect. Programming knowledge (e.g. .NET/C#/Java) advantageous
