Role Responsibilities:

  • Manage allocated IT projects/programs in offices across Asia Pacific
  • Liaise with all key stakeholders to understand the business case for development
  • Prioritise enhancement requests and manage delivery timescales to business
  • Analyse business issues /enhancements and specify appropriate technical solutions
  • Create clear and concise specifications / requirements documentation
  • Take responsibility for and manage the involvement of all related technology departments for any project under your control
  • Manage the request for changes, adhering to my client internal change managementprocesses including budget management for the allocated projects
  • Produce test cases to ensure accuracy and coverage of solution
  • Perform testing of requested changes
  • Manage UAT of requested changes
  • Project manage all system releases
  • Assist in resolving day to day issues related to systems worked on
  • Complete any mandatory training by the required deadlines.
  • Act with integrity and due skill, care and diligence in carrying out your duties
Experience/Competences:
  • Agile Project management skills - preferably either CSM/CSPO/SAFE or PMI-ACP certified. Has an understanding on how to coach teams on waterfall methodology to Agile
  • Business analysis skills - esp MS Visio, Activity/Swim lane/UML Diagrams
  • Problem solving skills, Capacity Management Skills, Budgeting and Conflict Management skills
  • Ability to match the basic business requirements to appropriate my client technical solutions
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Proficient in MS Excel, Word, Project, Visio
  • Experience of issue and task tracking packages e.g. JIRA, Confluence, Adobe Workfront and any Project Portfolio Management tool.
  • You will report to the Head of PMO, APAC
  • Responsible for end to end project management of IT programs across APAC, focusing on Front to Back office systems
  • You should have 6-8 yrs of experience with BA and PM Skills who are able to adapt to existing state and flexible to shift between waterfall and agile delivery.
  • Preferably having BA and PM experience and able to articulate user stories/manage backlog/scrums as well as project budget and tracking.
  • Strong communicator, proactive and able to work well with different stakeholders.
  • Banking / Brokerage industry backgrounds are a MUST.
