We are seeking an experienced AV Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of AV projects from initiation to completion. In this role, you will be responsible for managing project schedules, budgets, and client relationships while coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered smoothly, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage AV projects from kickoff through final handover, including planning, scheduling, execution, and client communication
Coordinate with internal teams (engineering, applications, and installation) and external stakeholders (vendors, subcontractors, and clients) to ensure alignment and timely delivery
Develop detailed project plans, scopes of work (SOW), schedules, and budgets based on project requirements
Monitor project progress, identify risks or delays early, and implement corrective actions to keep projects on track
Conduct site visits, supervise installation teams, and maintain high quality standards throughout implementation
Maintain accurate and organized project documentation, including change orders, progress reports, and commissioning records
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring transparent communication and effective expectation management
Oversee system testing, commissioning, user training, and final project handoff to ensure client satisfaction and operational readiness
Ensure all project activities comply with relevant safety regulations and industry standards
Evaluate project performance and outcomes to identify process improvements and enhance future project delivery
Requirements:
Diploma or degree in Audio-Visual, Information Technology, Electronics, or equivalent
Minimum 3 years project management experience in the AV industry
Understand AV system functionality and installation processes and techniques
Understand technical and construction documents
Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work with diverse groups
Effective communication skills
Resourceful and able to adapt according to the changing environment
Valid and current PMP Certification preferred
Candidates with fewer years of experience can be considered for Assistant Project Manager role
